CAPSULE COLLECTIF
I. INTRODUCTION
"The capsule, high-flying residence. 14 artists, in multiple disciplines. An osmosis in a group momentum. From this beautiful experience of sharing, it is to you today that we broadcast the creation, the beginning of something. A few bits of work, music, words, drawings, collages, videos, photos."
"La capsule, résidence de haut vol. 14 artistes, dans de multiples disciplines. Une osmose dans un élan de groupe. De cette si belle expérience de partage, c'est à vous aujourd'hui qu'on diffuse la création, le début de quelque chose. Quelques bouts d'oeuvres, de musique, de mots, de dessins, collages, vidéos, photos."

II. CAPSULE #1
Click on the titles for more details.
During summer 2021, 14 artists and I went on a residence for 10 days with the goal to create and learn together. This week and a half was such an experience that we decided to do an exposition with all the work we had done.
You are welcome to follow @capsule.collectif on Instagram to see more of what we've done that summer.
You can see below what I've done during this intense week.
CONTACT
Modeled and rigged on 3Ds Max, assembled and lit on Blender, rendered with Cycles, composited in After Effects and prepared for printing in Lightroom and Photoshop.
Going to the Capsule #1 I had a first project in mind. I thought about a floating female silouhette in a parallel world. After a few sketches ( pretty inspired once again by Moebius's work I must admit ) I ended up on a design I found inspiring and started modeling it.
At first I wanted to make an animation and work with music and sound FX. I then rigged and skinned my model accordingly. Giving the little time I had ( roughly 5 days ) I had to take a lot of shortcuts during retopology and rigging without compromising the final render.
In the end, the model is far from perfect but is great for what I needed it for.
As we thought about exposing our work I decided to go for still renders instead and try printing my work for the first time.
HECTOR LE BG
Made with Blender, rendered with Cycles and Eevee and composited in After Effects.

3:00am, Hector plugs his fender and starts playing like crazy. Alex pops up from the shadows with a microphone and starts his DAW. Lorcan grabbs his flute and in a few hours, the project was born. The morning after, I woke up seeing Eisdeen and Lou on the microphone crushing it so I grabbed the mp3 and started working.
LES CAVALIERS DE L'APOCALYPSE
Shot on a Sony Alpha 7s with a 15-35mm f/2.8 lens. Edited in Lightroom
Teamed with Hector Passat, Lou Orhant, and Paola Lessieux.
III. LVLUP + 2
The residence and exposition we made earlier in 2021 made us enter in contact with a lot of different artists in Toulouse. We were approched by 'Lvl Up', an association creating shows and events in Toulouse, to make the scenography of a rap show at 'Le Connexion'.
Here are a few photos and videos I've made of it.
